Both the treadmill and elliptical trainers are cardiovascular fan favorite. They are great machines for burning calories and shedding pounds, but is a better than others?

As heart devil me, I regularly use these machines to change my workout interesting, and my habits. There are definitely advantages and disadvantages to both parts of the equipment.

The treadmill

Pros

-Running is not for everyone. The heavier you are, the more likely it is, you will be injured. People who are overweight or inexperienced should not begin their journey with fitness –running. But is walking on the treadmill absolutely wonderful for all weight or skill level.

-Many people feel uncomfortable running in the gym with the jumping around and bright red faces.

Elliptical Trainer

Pros

Elliptical trainer is involved in your whole body. You are using both legs and arms.

-It is very easy on the lower body joints. There is no impact as your feet on the pedals the entire time.

There -many options to keep you interested. Intensity adjustments, and with only the legs or arms, and move forward and backward.

-Finally, it is easier to use than a treadmill and can be used without tiring for a longer period. It is also a great starter machine for beginners.

Cons

The elliptical-popular and is difficult to get into a gym. It is also an activity that you can not outside of the gym or at home, if you have one in your house Gym.

-It is a myth that the elliptical burns more calories than the treadmill. Use your arms helps to burn, but the lack of using your body to drift forward, really smooths out the calorie count at the end. Both burn about the same amount.
